Learn how to create, plant, and maintain a wabi kusa while making your own small garden in this guided workshop. All materials and plants are provided to create the wabi kusa, including a vessel and light for you to keep your creation thriving when you go home. Wabi kusa are a fun and easy way to expand your love of aquatic plants into another medium. If you have always wanted to try your hand at this style of Nature Aquarium, this fun workshop is for you!

Convention registration is required to be able to participate in this workshop. 

As both workshops will occur at the same time, attendees may only register for one.

Unless special arrangement is made in advance, all nano aquascapes must be left on display until the end of day Saturday. AGA volunteers will be available to assist in draining water and preparing wabi kusa for transport, but participants are responsible for preparing and removing their setups.The wabi kusa created in the workshop are part of the convention atmosphere and are a highlight attraction for attendees. If you are unable to leave your creation on display through the convention, we will be happy to refund your money and give another participant the opportunity. Thank you.
